Driving Efficiency and Support Through Curiosity

Project type

Learning, Systems & Support

Date

2016 - 2024

Location

Reno, NV

What I Did:
I’ve always leaned on curiosity as one of my strongest tools — using it to dig deeper, learn new systems quickly, and support workloads across the business. Whether it was mastering unfamiliar platforms, building dashboards, or exploring automation opportunities, I approached every system and process with an open mindset and a drive to improve them. My curiosity didn’t stop at my own responsibilities; I took the time to learn my peers’ systems as well, so I could help troubleshoot, improve their processes, and step in to support whenever needed. This not only strengthened my knowledge base but also reinforced a people-first mindset by ensuring my teammates were never left without support.

Impact:
This curiosity-driven approach enabled me to improve processes, increase efficiency, and provide support across a wide range of workloads. By continuously learning and finding better ways to use and optimize systems, I reduced gaps, created smoother workflows, and gave peers and leaders confidence that every process was built for long-term success. In practice, this mindset didn’t just help me grow personally — it helped entire teams work smarter, fostered trust among peers, and built a culture where curiosity and people-first collaboration drove measurable results.
